Workshop CitiVerse Sandbox #4 Wednesday 27 May
From interoperability to implementation: Building a Nordic Operational CitiVerse Sandbox.
This workshop is part of the continuing Nordic DTSC / FinEstNorSwe initiative focused on creating an interoperable CitiVerse Sandbox where BIM, CIM, AI, XR, urban data and digital twins can converge into a shared operational environment.
The workshop marks an important transition: from conceptual discussions toward implementation, governance structures, expert groups, and real-world pilot scenarios.
The session also serves as preparation for the upcoming presentation within SEK Arbetsgruppen Standarder och Plattformar on 15 June, where DTSC will present the first operational structure for the Sandbox initiative.
Focus Areas
During the workshop we will continue structuring:
- Interoperability between BIM and CIM
- AI-driven urban workflows
- XR and human-centric interfaces
- Open standards and semantic interoperability
- Governance and expert-group structures
- Sandbox deployment and hackathon preparation
Expert Groups
The Sandbox development is now supported through four connected expert groups:
- Energy Systems & Weather
- Traffic / Mobility / E-commerce
- The Unbroken Chain in Construction
- Cultural Heritage / HeriTwin
These groups support the DTSC core team.
